What we keep about you, in plain words.

Very little. Here is exactly what, why, for how long, and how to have it removed.

If you ask for the free chapter

We keep your email address and, if you filled it in, your first name. We use them for one thing: to send you the chapter, and now and then a short email about the books. Nothing else, and we never sell or pass them on.

They stay on file as long as you want to hear from us. Reply to any of our emails with "stop" or "delete" and we remove your address, usually within a few days.

If you buy a book

Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us: we never see your card number. What we do receive from Stripe is your email address, what you bought and the amount, so we can send you your books and keep honest accounts. Those sales records we keep as long as the bookkeeping rules require.

Visiting the site

We count visitors with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not identify you; it only tells us how many people came and which pages they read. The site itself is hosted by Cloudflare, so ordinary server logs (the kind every website has) live with them.

We set no tracking cookies, run no advertising pixels, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to ask permission for.

Your rights

You can ask at any time what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Send one email and we will do it.
